Rachel Weisz ended up revealing that she has already gone through a miscarriage.
The 53-year-old actress, who is married to Daniel Craig, spoke about the experience in The Magazine this week. She ended up giving away the fact when commenting on the negative repercussion of the childbirth and abortion scenes in her new series, 'Gemini - Morbid Similarity', in which she plays twin gynecologists who share the same office. Viewers said on social media that the sequences were too explicit.
“I was telling this story about the female experience and it didn't feel like it was exaggerated or overdramatized," Weisz reckoned. "Women have had miscarriages; I had a miscarriage. Then all of a sudden you see blood coming out of your body and It's all part of the female experience of being alive."
The artist, however, did not elaborate further on this comment about her personal life, which she made in a "by the way" style. Thus, it is unknown whether she went through the abortion before her relationship with Craig or after it.
Still, in her series scenes, Weisz said, "I think we're not used to seeing any of these things being represented cinematically or fictionally. So maybe the show is breaking new ground."

She said she prefers to keep a low profile because her husband already gets a lot of attention as a Hollywood star. "It would be a betrayal," she told More, according to Elle magazine. "You need to protect your marriage."
