The Oscar-winning director Quentin Tarantino is a fan of this Disney movie

Quentin Tarantino is one of the most outstanding filmmakers of today. His films have become essential titles that every movie lover should see at least once in their life. We can mention Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as some of his most notable works.

But beyond his characteristic style when it comes to filming and telling the story, Tarantino is a movie lover. He loves watching movies and on many occasions, he has shared which are his favorite movies, which have influenced his achievements, and others that he has not enjoyed so much. With that being said, many would be surprised to find out that the director is a huge fan of a Disney movie that was released in the 2000s and has become a favorite of many.

Among all the hits that the studio accumulates from the 2000s, the one that stands out the most is Crazy Friday, the premiere film released in 2003 that has Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as protagonists. The film directed by Mark Waters tells the story of a mother and daughter who magically switch bodies and must work on their bond to normality.

The film was a huge success for the studio, ending with a gross of $160 million. This year, 20 years after its premiere, the studio confirmed that Crazy Friday will have a sequel that will once again feature Lohan and Curtis as protagonists.

The truth is that Quentin Tarantino has declared himself a fan of Crazy Friday and even revealed his favorite scene from the film. To commemorate the film's 20th anniversary, director Mark Waters sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to go over some trivia about the film.

Among all those anecdotes, Waters revealed that the Oscar-winning director once cornered him at a party to talk about the film. "[He] described to me in great detail, shot by shot, that House of Blues sequence. He was, like, describing why it was such a great scene and a perfect ending to the movie, and I was like, 'This is great, man. Quentin Tarantino was like a fan of me,'" Waters revealed.

The scene to which Waters refers is the moment in which Anna (Lohan) must attend the House of Blues with her band to participate in the band contest. There they perform the famous number 'Don't wanna grow up, I wanna get out', which shows Anna totally terrified of playing her guitar solo, as Anna is trapped in the body of her mother Tess ( Lee Curtis). It is then that she appears backstage and plays her solo, while Anna mimes onstage.

It is without a doubt one of the best moments of the film, and it becomes even more relevant knowing that the Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis is the one who actually plays the guitar during the scene.
